Department of chemistry after six years of excellence in undergraduate teaching, has evolved innovations and distinctly different teaching methodologies for excellent results through team work. The staff members are well qualified with doctoral degree and have worked in various fields such as environmental chemistry, clay chemistry and catalysis.

The department is well quipped for qualitative and quantitative analysis of ores, minerals, metallurgical and industrial samples. It has evolved expertise in wastewater engineering treatment disposal and reuse of clay based adsorbent materials.

The faculty with the expertise and experience can offer consultancy services to industries, with cleaner technologies rather than clean up technologies for performance chemical and advanced clay based materials.
