There is a famous saying by Benjamin Franklin "No employment can be managed without arithmetic and no mechanical invention without geometry". Engineering Mathematics, a foundation course for Engineering degree, is being taught by the Department of Mathematics that has seven well qualified and well experienced staffs. Mr. R.D Jagadeesha. heading the department, is actively involved in teaching and research. He was awarded M. Phil. Degree and is pursuing Ph.D. degree under VTU, Belguam. All the faculty of Mathematics Department are working with the motto of "Not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple". The department has Mr. Kemparaju.S who has registered for his Ph.D. degree under VTU, Belguam. He has also done MCA and M.Phil., in computer science. The other faculty are Mrs. Pushpa B.V, Mr. Kiran S., Mr. Girish.N and Mr. Channakeshavaiah, Mrs Bhavya who are the recent addition to our department. Finally, Mathematics possesses not only truth, but also supreme beauty.
