The mechanical department strives to achieve excellency by providing quality education. The department is blessed with a strong team of highly qualified and dedicated faculties, with all of them possessing a post graduate degree.

All the departmental laboratories are equipped as per the VTU norms and has acquired mechanical oriented software's such as CATIA V5 R 13, ANSYS,SOLID EDGE V-18, and Auto CAD 2000 etc.

Faculties have periodically presented papers in National and International Conferences. The activities for setting up R & D Centre for department are diligently persuaded.

Apart from academics the department gives real time exposure of technology to the students through industrial visit, seminars etc. The department has been encouraging and motivating the students to participate in extra curricular activities.
